Copyright Policy
Last updated: May 7, 2026
1. Our Approach
Coomerang respects intellectual property rights and expects users to do the same. Users may only upload, publish, or generate content that they have the right to use.
This policy explains how copyright owners can report alleged infringement and how users can respond if their content is removed or restricted. We accept copyright notices under applicable law, including DMCA-style notices for U.S. rights holders where relevant.
2. Copyright Contact
Send copyright notices to:
You may also contact us through the Contact page. Please include enough detail for us to identify the work, the allegedly infringing material, and how to contact you.
3. What To Include in a Notice
To help us review a copyright complaint, include the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature, or the signature of a person authorised to act for the copyright owner.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed. If multiple works are involved, provide a representative list.
- Identification of the material you claim is infringing, including the specific Coomerang URL or other information reasonably sufficient for us to locate it.
- Your name, postal address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
For U.S. DMCA notices, your statement may need to be made under penalty of perjury. If you are unsure whether content is infringing, consider getting legal advice before sending a notice.
4. Our Response
When we receive a sufficiently detailed notice, we may investigate, remove or disable access to the material, restrict account features, notify the uploader where appropriate, request more information, or decline the notice if it is incomplete or unsupported.
We may also remove or restrict content where we independently believe it infringes rights, violates our Terms, or creates legal or safety risk.
5. Counter-Notice or Appeal
If your content was removed or restricted because of a copyright complaint and you believe this was a mistake, you may send a counter-notice or appeal to [email protected]. Include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the removed or restricted content and where it appeared before removal.
- A clear explanation of why you believe the content was removed or restricted by mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- Any statements required by applicable law, such as consent to jurisdiction and acceptance of service for U.S. DMCA counter-notices where relevant.
We may forward your counter-notice to the original complainant where required or appropriate. We may restore content if legally appropriate, but we are not required to restore content that violates our Terms or applicable law.
6. Repeat Infringers
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts that repeatedly infringe intellectual property rights or submit content that creates repeated rights complaints. Severe infringement or misuse may lead to immediate action.
7. False or Abusive Notices
Do not submit false, misleading, or abusive copyright notices or counter-notices. Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake, can create legal liability.
8. No General Monitoring Promise
Coomerang uses reporting tools and moderation processes, but we do not promise to proactively review every upload for copyright issues before publication. Users remain responsible for ensuring they have the rights needed for their content.

Coomerang is operated by Coomerang LTD, registered in England and Wales under company number 16557189, with registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom.
